Big Board Sale and Altrincham Monday Night League

The Monday night league is a new one for Sale and Altrincham, the league secretary is Carl Bailey from the Central club Broadheath. The chairman is Andy Brownhill of the Timp Cons. The Finance Officer Paul Andrews from Cringlewood Club and new committee members are Danny O'Donnell of the Cringlewood, Nigel Foster of the British Rail and Stu Graham of the Jolly.

The committee meet regularly with the league team Captains to discuss and agree rules and regulations and to vote on them.

Some agreements; Teams can come in from the Sale and Altrincham areas, outside of this the committee has to vote to allow teams in.

Teams will put a card round for food on the night.

There will be competitions; Pairs, individuals, Vets [over 55s] TKO, Captains cup and a final presentation night with a professional player.

Players not there by the end of the forth game will be ruled out.

Players to sign on by mid season anyone after that has to be approved by the committee.

£125 per team per season winter fees [last for about 8 months] and just £30 for summer season per team. Trophies for all winners, as well as brand new league trophies.

The league has 2 sponsors; Timpsons and Perfect Gardens.

Teams coming coming in must be declared to the league secretary no later than mid June for summer league and mid August for winter league, there is no ceiling for the number of teams allowed in the league
